My 10 year old has this little waffle maker and she’s constantly asking to make waffles. They’re always a success! Santa got this waffle maker from target last year and it’s been used so much since. At $9.99 it’s a must have! Find it here.
Hear me out. I’ve made homemade cinnamon rolls, they were good but not good enough to spend the entire day baking when these puppies are just $3.92 at Walmart. There are days when making homemade cinnamon rolls are exactly what you want to do but if that’s not for you, these are!
If you don’t bake cinnamon rolls with your chili in the fall and winter are you even a Kansas public school kid?! I have taken these to a potluck and gotten numerous questions about whether they’re homemade or not. It’s important to note the rise time on these is 3-5 hours. I have done the quick method on the back of the bag for 1 1/2 hours but it’s tricky keeping the dough moist.
If you want these first thing in the morning and aren’t about to get up at 3am to assemble in a pan, my suggestion would be to cook them the night before. This is just my personal opinion but I think they’re even BETTER leftover just microwave for 15 seconds. Find them at Walmart or Dillons note the price difference– Walmarts are $3.92 and Dillons has them for $5.29 better get them fuel points!
The better homes and gardens serving platters are practical and reasonably priced these are a must for hosting! From left to right the big bowl is $14.88 and not only does it work great for a side or main course I’m using it as a salad bowl. I hate trying to stir my salad and mix it all together in a bowl that’s too small. The middle dish is $6.97 and works perfectly with appetizer like foods, used as a small cheese tray or holding a side dish like grilled asparagus with parmesan cheese and lemon. Yes please! The larger platter is currently on sale for $12.98 and I personally don’t have this one but what a perfect tray for meat, or a square tart puff pastry. If you’re thinking seriously? Some cheap plates? Yes! It’s the little things in my book and I just love these.
This is something I don’t have… yet. How did I not know about these? I have actually destroyed a pizza in the oven and this would have been a saving grace.
Papa Murphys circa 2016 I was so hungry! I didn’t wait for the oven to preheat and after it had cooked for a while I wanted to crisp up the bottom. She melted. The entire pizza fell through the pizza grates and in an effort to salvage the pizza I began pulling it out of the oven. Terrible idea. It fell into the door jam and made an even bigger mess on the oven coils. If I would have had this mat I could have just watched it fall through the grates and cook on the mat. 😂 Keeping it real over here, I’m no chef and my cooking skills aren’t perfect. When hunger takes over I don’t always think strait.
LOVED this little Skoy Scrub. My sister gave me this as a gift and it was amazing! I say loved because unfortunately it fell into the sink and the garbage disposal got flipped on, RIP Skoy scrub.
What’s so great about it? I personally used this on my glass stove top and it was great at getting baked on stuff off the stove without scratching it. They’re made up from recycled spool runs which cuts down on waste, not to mention they dry fast meaning less bacteria and stink.
If you’re local these are available in Great Bend KS at Miss Pretty Pickles or on amazon linked above, you’ll have to check them out!
